About us
Rights People is a full-service rights agency representing English language and translation rights for children’s and YA books. We are the rights agency of choice for some of the best literary agents, publishers and packagers around the world. Established in 2006, we provide a dedicated, personal service to our clients, finding the right homes for their books in all markets.
Our services
Rights People provides a complete rights service to clients for both English language and translation sales. We sell directly in nearly every market, making us a one-stop shop for rights services.
We find the very best homes for our clients’ titles and our approach is a personal one. We handle submissions, marketing materials, deal negotiations, contracts, and all payments, and take the best possible care of each book we represent, from beginning to end. We work closely with our colleagues at Contracts People to ensure our licensing agreements are thorough and up to date in the ever-changing rights landscape.
We regularly attend all major book fairs, including London, Bologna, Frankfurt and Beijing, and make several sales trips each year to territories around the world.
